Ascend Table Mountain
Ride in the cable car for a stellar view and quick journey or if you're up for it, make use of one of the many hiking trails up the mountain to get close with the flora and fauna of our beautiful mountain. We recommend India Venster or Plattelkip Gorge hiking trails.

Visit the wild African Penguins
A species indigenous to Cape Town, a colony of these marine birds can be found wild in Boulder's Beach, located in the naval town of Simon's Town.

Two Oceans Aquarium
Right next to the AGW2025 venue you can find an aquarium housing a variety of invertebrates, fish species, sharks and of course, African penguins. The penguins are critically endangered and breeding programs such as the one at the aquarium are essential for their conservation.

Enjoy the colours of the Bo-Kaap
At the foot of Signal Hill, the Bo-Kaap is a vibrant Cape Town neighbourhood famed for its brightly coloured houses and rich Cape Malay culture. Originally the 18th-century "Malay Quarter" for slaves and exiles, the now-bright hues were adopted as a celebratory expression of freedom after residents could buy their properties. Explore this living history at the Bo-Kaap Museum, see the country's oldest mosque, and try authentic Cape Malay cuisine.
